You will join a small, focused engineering group at Mamo, the company building the next generation of inclusive financial services that give people and businesses practical access to payments and money management. As a Senior Frontend React Developer working fully remote, you will shape customer-facing interfaces that directly affect how users interact with these tools every day.
What you'll be doing
- Build and ship new customer-facing features and internal tools while collaborating daily with product, design, and backend engineers to keep the roadmap moving.
- Design modular UI components, refine the frontend architecture, and resolve performance bottlenecks so the application stays fast and reliable as usage grows.
- Raise test coverage, strengthen logging and monitoring, and introduce best practices that improve both development speed and long-term code quality.
What you'll bring
You bring six or more years of hands-on work with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS, including at least four years building production applications in React. You have already scaled web products, managed state and routing, and used React hooks extensively. You are comfortable setting up and running testing frameworks, especially end-to-end tools such as Playwright, and you understand the trade-offs between CSR, SSR, SSG, and client-side hydration. Experience with monitoring platforms and a habit of documenting decisions help you move quickly in a fast-paced setting. You communicate clearly in English, both in writing and in conversation, and you are curious about using AI tools to increase the quality and speed of your work. Background knowledge in payments, fraud, risk, e-commerce, or finance is welcome, as is prior experience with Ruby on Rails.
What you'll get
You will work remotely with a supportive team that values individual ownership, continuous learning, and a culture built on empathy and collaboration. The role offers the chance to influence architecture, adopt new frontend technologies, and contribute to products that expand financial inclusion.
