At JockMKT, we are redefining the live sports experience by creating a social, interactive marketplace where fans buy and sell shares of athletes in real time. Since our launch in 2020, we have grown rapidly, processing millions of dollars in trades every month across major leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA, and NASCAR. As a small, agile team, we value curiosity and the drive to understand the mechanics behind our complex trading systems. We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help us scale our mobile and web platforms while working in a flexible, hybrid environment across the United States.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to design and implement new features for our web platform and mobile applications.
- Develop robust, reusable components and business logic that serve as the foundation for our core user experience.
- Enhance our real-time data streaming and state management systems by proactively identifying performance bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 4 years of professional software development experience, specifically with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React or React Native. We are looking for someone who has successfully owned the development lifecycle of a complex software product and shipped it to real users. You should be comfortable managing intricate front-end requirements and data flows. Proficiency in English is required, and we value candidates who are detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to learn alongside their teammates.
