Senior Frontend Engineer at Arkestro

We are currently looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our remote-first team. Key outcomes

• Take a lead role in developing and scaling our frontend features.
• Partner with QA engineers to ensure all designs are responsive and technically sound across browsers and devices.
• Work closely with the product team to maintain high quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product management and technical leadership to provide accurate project estimates and commitments.
• Implement modern methodologies and best practices to streamline our development processes.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and leadership regarding project status, potential risks, and technical issues.
• Integrate metrics and monitoring into all new features and widgets.
• Participate in our on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in frontend engineering or a closely related field.
• Extensive expertise in React, JavaScript, CSS, and TypeScript.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with NextJS.
• At least 1 year of experience working with AWS or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in using Storybook and Figma for design and component development.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience working in fast-paced environments with established on-call rotations and documented SLAs, SLOs, RPOs, and RTOs.
• Familiarity with collaboration and monitoring tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, PagerDuty, and DataDog.

Compensation

We offer a salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 USD. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
