At Intenseye, we are on a mission to reach zero workplace injuries by leveraging cutting-edge AI to help global enterprises identify hazards in real time. Our platform currently protects over 100,000 employees across 25 countries, and we are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our distributed team and help us define the future of employee health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Drive the development of our industry-defining product roadmap alongside our talented frontend and backend engineering teams.
- Build beautiful, high-performance software interfaces that solve complex legacy issues for our customers.
- Architect and maintain large-scale single-page applications with a focus on efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with your peers to own technical decisions and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable code.
- Implement robust unit testing, monitor code coverage, and maintain high standards through diligent linting and peer review cycles.
- Work within a fast-paced environment to push the technical boundaries of functional reactive programming.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of professional frontend development experience using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Deep expertise in React and Redux, along with a strong understanding of web standards, browser behavior, and HTML semantics.
- Solid experience with CSS, including modern layout techniques like flexbox and the box model.
- Proven ability to manage complex asynchronous flows and integrate with various APIs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of version control workflows, specifically Git and GitHub, including branching models and PR reviews.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including a solid grasp of algorithms and data structures.
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate within an internationally distributed team.
Nice-to-haves
- Practical experience with React Native and React Query.
- A Computer Science degree or equivalent academic background.
- Exposure to architectural patterns for high-volume data pipelines and large-scale web applications.
