The role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will report directly to our Chief Product Officer and work in close partnership with our Chief Design Officer. You will lead a talented, lean team to translate innovative designs into high-performance web applications, serving as a key architect for our SaaS product's frontend evolution.
Core responsibilities
- Lead the development of sophisticated frontend features and data visualization interfaces using React, JavaScript, and Redux.
- Translate precise design specifications into pixel-perfect implementations while ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate complex APIs and manage deployments through platforms like Netlify.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in building production-grade web applications. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with React and a deep understanding of its ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in plain JavaScript, including modern ES6+ features.
- Proven expertise in creating complex data visualizations using D3.js or similar libraries.
- Experience working with complex RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- A track record of delivering pixel-perfect designs and maintaining high performance in SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with modern build tools, version control, and deployment platforms like Netlify.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
