The role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join Team Catalog within our Revenue Zone. This is a full-time, remote position. You will play a pivotal role in shaping how our customers discover, bundle, and purchase our growing suite of AI and automation products. We are seeking a senior-level professional who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and is energized by the challenge of simplifying complex billing and subscription experiences.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement seamless purchasing experiences that support our diverse subscription models, including usage-based and outcome-based pricing.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and marketing teams to ensure our pricing and packaging strategies are effectively delivered to both self-serve and enterprise customers.
• Act as a technical leader by mentoring team members, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring our front-end architecture remains scalable and performant.

Skills and experience

We are looking for someone with at least 6 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 of those years at a senior level. You should have a strong background in crafting web-based software products.

• Expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript is essential for delivering high-quality, scalable front-end experiences.
• Fluency in OpenAPI and GraphQL, with the ability to shape how front-end interfaces interact with complex data models and orchestration engines.
• A proven ability to build performance-sensitive applications, utilizing observability tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Lighthouse to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• An AI-curious mindset, with experience experimenting with modern AI tools and a desire to shape how these technologies integrate into the user experience.
• Strong communication skills, with a history of balancing feedback from various stakeholders while maintaining high standards for polish and performance.
