Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join us on a full-time contract basis for a one-year term. This is a remote position, meaning you can contribute from anywhere. We need a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience who is comfortable taking ownership of complex projects.
Your impact
- You will lead the development and deployment of web applications, whether you are working independently or as a key contributor within a larger team.
- You will serve as a bridge between disciplines, collaborating closely with UX designers and backend engineers to refine API designs and elevate the overall user experience.
- You will act as a mentor to junior team members, sharing your technical expertise to help the entire group grow and succeed.
What you'll need
Success in this role requires a strong command of modern web development and a collaborative mindset. We communicate in English and look for the following qualifications:
- Deep expertise in React and TypeScript, though experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks is also highly valued.
- A solid understanding of backend concepts and the ability to work with Python for data manipulation and API development.
- Practical experience working within cloud environments, specifically AWS tools like Lambda, OpenSearch, CloudFormation, and CloudFront.
- A proven track record of shipping production-ready applications.
