The opportunity
As a Senior Front End Engineer you will own the user-facing experience for our most strategic client initiative. Your work will turn complex capital-markets workflows into intuitive interfaces that traders, operations teams, and compliance officers rely on daily. You will collaborate directly with clients to uncover their biggest pain points and then translate those insights into production-ready features that scale across multiple asset classes.
A day in the life
- Pairing with product and design to refine user stories, estimate effort, and groom the backlog in our Agile ceremonies.
- Building and testing React components that consume REST APIs, manage state with modern hooks, and deliver pixel-perfect interfaces styled through CSS-in-JS.
- Reviewing pull requests, writing unit tests in Jest, and iterating with clients to ensure every release solves real trading-desk problems.
Who you are
You bring at least six years of hands-on React experience and feel confident shaping applications that consume REST APIs. You understand CSS-in-JS or PostCSS, practice functional programming with hooks, and have written extensive unit tests for component libraries. Working in Agile environments is second nature; you contribute to story grooming and estimation without hesitation. Strong written and spoken English keeps our remote collaboration seamless.
Experience with GraphQL, Storybook, monorepos, TypeScript, or open-source contributions is a plus, as is familiarity with Java and Spring Boot.
