Senior Front End Engineer at Cybrary

We are looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to join our team and help us continue our rapid growth as one of North America’s fastest-growing technology companies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain client-side software using React and Next.js.
• Develop and support our application service layer using PHP and Laravel.
• Participate in high-level architectural discussions regarding our data, client, and service projects.
• Collaborate with your peers by conducting thorough code reviews.
• Ensure system stability by providing production support and resolving issues quickly.
• Contribute to application security and testing protocols.
• Manage software integrations with our third-party partners and products.

Must-haves

• At least 7 years of professional experience in JavaScript front-end development.
• Deep proficiency with both functional and class-based React components.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js 13+ and the App router.
• Strong skills in Tailwind CSS and global state management tools like MobX or React context.
• Experience working with PHP, Laravel, and SQL databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with oAuth and SSO integrations.
• A strong grasp of application architecture, ranging from database design to code structure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with React Native.
• Knowledge or practical experience in DevOps.
