Senior Front-end Developer at April

We are building the future of tax technology at April, where we help fintechs, payroll providers, and financial service companies embed intelligent tax filing and optimization tools directly into their platforms. Backed by major investors like Treasury, QED, and Team8, we are moving past the outdated red tape of the industry to create a proactive, year-round tax experience for users. We are looking for a creative and driven individual to join our core engineering team and help us build platforms that change how people manage their financial lives.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-end Developer to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our vision to life by planning and implementing high-scale systems. You will work closely with our product designers and managers to build complex, high-quality web and mobile applications that serve both our customers and our internal analyst teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role in the design and development of our customer-facing experiences and our internal analyst tooling.
• Collaborate with product and UX teams to define our company roadmap and execute development plans using a modern microservices architecture.
• Mentor team members while helping to shape our engineering practices and technology stack.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience with TypeScript or JavaScript and modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Strong proficiency in web markup, specifically HTML5 and CSS3.
• Expertise with front-end build tools such as Babel and Webpack.
• A deep understanding of UI/UX best practices and experience building accessible, responsive, enterprise-grade applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, along with the ability to see projects through to completion.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment.
• Bonus points for experience with the Bazel build tool or the gRPC framework.

Location

This position is based in Israel and requires an on-site presence.
