Role at a glance
We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position based in Canada. We operate with a hybrid work model, giving you the flexibility to balance your time between home and our collaborative office space in the Mile-End.
Your impact
- Build and maintain our core platform using React and GraphQL.
- Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews to maintain high standards and foster a culture of continuous growth.
- Partner with product designers to craft intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and refine our internal design system.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role, you should be comfortable working in both English and French. We are looking for someone with the following background:
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience with React and TypeScript.
- At least 5 years of experience building single-page applications.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with functional programming, object-oriented programming, and modern ECMAScript specifications.
- Experience with testing libraries like Jest or Vitest and state management tools like Redux or Apollo Client.
- An understanding of agile methodologies.
- Bonus points if you have experience with backend frameworks like Ruby, PHP, or Python, as well as data visualization.
