The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Fraud Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a highly visible role where you will take the lead in monitoring and optimizing our payment fraud stack. You will be responsible for defining our fraud detection strategy, managing crisis incidents, and ensuring our fraud ratios and approval rates remain healthy. By working closely with our data and engineering teams, you will help us secure our supply chain and drive significant value across the organization.
A day in the life
- Build and refine a holistic anti-fraud strategy that supports our global expansion while proactively identifying new attack vectors through daily metric monitoring.
- Use SQL and big data tools to conduct complex forensic investigations and exploratory analyses that deepen our understanding of user behavior and system vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders by translating intricate data insights into actionable recommendations and maintaining robust Business Intelligence dashboards.
Who you are
You are a data-driven professional with a background in fintech or e-commerce who thrives in fast-paced environments. You have a strong ability to communicate complex findings clearly, and you are comfortable working with large, intricate datasets.
Our ideal candidate brings the following:
- At least 5 years of experience in fraud prevention or a closely related field.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar technical discipline.
- Proven expertise in sourcing and analyzing data, specifically by writing and modifying SQL queries to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools and anti-fraud software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bonus points if you have experience with machine learning techniques, cloud ecosystems like GCP or AWS, or Python.
Why you'll love it here
We are a remote-first company, and this role is open to candidates based in Spain. You will be joining a team that values innovation, detail-oriented problem solving, and the ability to make a lasting impact on a global travel marketplace. We provide a flexible remote work environment that allows you to contribute to our mission from wherever you work best.
