Senior FP&A Analyst, Go-to-Market Finance at Marqeta

The role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior FP&A Analyst to join our Go-to-Market finance team. This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in financial analysis to help us forecast the impact of new customer acquisitions and drive our business growth.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast the revenue and expense impact of acquiring new customers, including interchange and network fees.
• Partner with our sales and go-to-market teams to define acquisition targets, evaluate deal economics, and provide actionable insights that optimize our sales strategies.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to monitor key performance indicators and conduct scenario analyses that identify potential risks and opportunities for the business.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, specifically within customer forecasting and financial modeling.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a solid grasp of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Strong data analytics capabilities with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate findings to non-financial stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree considered a plus.
• Experience with SQL or fintech industry knowledge is highly valued.

Compensation and benefits
