Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Finance Specialist to join our international accounting team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position based in Germany, where you will take ownership of the financial operations for our German entities. We are seeking a seasoned professional who can ensure precision in our reporting while maintaining compliance with local standards.

Your impact

• Take charge of preparing monthly financial statements for our German entities and their subsidiaries, ensuring full adherence to HGB accounting principles.
• Maintain the integrity of our financial data by managing period closings, reconciling general and sub-ledgers, and overseeing fixed asset accounting.
• Drive operational excellence by managing daily accounting tasks, including VAT returns, vendor bill processing, and continuous improvement of our internal financial policies and systems.

What you'll need

• A solid educational background as a certified accountant or a degree in finance, tax, or accounting, paired with significant experience in financial accounting.
• Deep expertise in HGB standards, along with a firm grasp of international accounting and consolidation practices.
• Technical proficiency with ERP systems, such as Netsuite, SAP, or Workday, and ideally some familiarity with the SaaS industry.
• A highly analytical mindset and the ability to work independently with a structured, quality-focused approach.
• Fluency in both German and English, as you will be collaborating across our international team.
