What you bring
As a Senior Field Robotics Engineer, you will serve as a vital engineering contact for our customers, bridging the gap between cutting-edge software development and real-world deployment. This full-time, hybrid role requires a blend of technical expertise in Python, C++, and Linux, alongside a passion for navigation and planning. You will be based in the United States and will focus on the following core responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the application, web, and cloud software layers that power our scanning robot solutions.
- Leading customer-facing deployments, which includes surveying store layouts, annotating maps, and validating route accuracy.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues on-site while identifying root causes for navigation challenges to improve overall fleet performance.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, combined with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience. You should be comfortable working in a Linux environment and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. We value individuals who are Agile and Scrum oriented, have experience with Continuous Integration, and possess a strong ability to solve complex problems in hands-on environments. A solid understanding of robotic systems, including ROS and various sensor technologies like LiDAR and cameras, will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
What we offer
We provide a competitive salary range of $116,000 to $136,000. Beyond your base compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and long-term success:

- Stock options and a 401k plan.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Life and disability insurance.
- Generous paid time off.
