About the Role

This is a Full Time position where you will serve as a technical lead and the primary point of contact for our industrial clients. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the integration of our lidar products, managing project timelines, and providing deep technical expertise. Because we operate globally, you will also support specific customer needs within the China market. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety and is comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead on critical customer engagements, specifically focusing on lidar deployment for non-automotive sectors.
• Manage the full lifecycle of deployment projects, which includes gathering requirements, conducting product demonstrations, and coordinating with our internal engineering team.
• Act as the voice of the customer by providing actionable feedback to our engineering department to help resolve technical issues and improve our product offerings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a proven track record of working with external partners. Our requirements include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering combined with at least 7 years of relevant industry experience.
• Direct experience working with lidar or similar sensing technologies.
• Strong proficiency in communication and presentation, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• A high level of comfort working in demanding, fast-paced environments where you may need to handle critical situations on the fly.
• Technical familiarity with Linux operating systems and programming languages such as C++ or Python.
• A willingness to travel, potentially to uncommon destinations, and the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs when necessary.
• Fluency in Mandarin is considered a significant advantage for this role.

Location

This role is based in the United States. We operate under a Hybrid work model, which requires you to be onsite for a minimum of 3 days per week.
