What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Equipment Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Cedartown, Georgia. This is an executive-level position perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. What will you do?

• Take full ownership of our solar panel recycling equipment, ensuring peak reliability and performance across all systems.
• Proactively monitor equipment health, establish standard maintenance procedures, and lead troubleshooting and repair efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing a preventative maintenance program to optimize uptime and reduce costs across our manufacturing processes.

What makes you a great fit?

To be successful in this role, you should bring a methodical approach to problem-solving and a strong technical background. We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• At least 10 years of experience in high-tech equipment maintenance, including installation and start-up.
• Proficiency with control systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• The ability to read complex schematics and troubleshoot technical issues under pressure.
• Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and statistical process control (SPC).
• Strong verbal and technical communication skills.
• The physical ability to lift items up to 75 lbs.
• Bonus points if you have design or CAD experience, or if you are bilingual in Spanish or Mandarin.
