About the role:
We are currently seeking a Line Maintenance Sr. Equipment Engineer to join our team in Cedartown, Georgia. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with lots of challenges and opportunities, this is the right role for you.

Responsibilities:
- Ownership of solar panel recycling equipment. Responsible for the reliability and performance of the Equipment
- Monitor the condition of the equipment; proactively identify maintenance needs and establish standard maintenance procedures and work, troubleshooting and repair.
- Establish/drive continuous improvement metrics via a preventative maintenance program to optimize planned vs unplanned downtime on the manufacturing equipment.
- Establish and drive a cost reduction program from a process, equipment, and maintenance shop perspective.
- Regularly meet with Production and Engineering teammates to plan and monitor maintenance and capital improvement projects.
- Establish, improve, and drive compliance with all operational safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Identify and implement a new computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and drive maintenance efficiencies through the IT systems.
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary, coordinate and administer vendor contracts.
- Undertake corrective action resulting from system audits.
- Provide regular reports on the status of maintenance metrics and programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Education, Training and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field
- 10 years of experience in high-tech equipment maintenance
- Experience with installation and start-up of Equipment
- Experience using computerized maintenance systems
- Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Fault Detection Limits (FDC)
- Experience with control systems, pneumatic, hydraulics & electrical systems
- Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Strong programmatic and methodical approach to problem solving
- Design and CAD experience a plus
- Ability to handle lifting items to 75 lbs.
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to work under stress and timelines
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and technically
- Advanced experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Bilingual Spanish and/or Mandarin language skills preferred but not required
