About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and growing a team of talented engineers. You will provide the guidance necessary to maintain and evolve our remote patient monitoring platform, ensuring that our technical solutions continue to deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a growing team of engineers while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the backend and frontend services that power our platform.
- Collaborate with product owners and internal stakeholders to shape technical strategy and ensure our software remains scalable, maintainable, and high-performing.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership capacity.
- A strong background in backend development and experience working within cloud environments like AWS or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres and experience with queuing technologies like Kafka or SQS.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- A commitment to autonomy, direct communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Location
This position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive annual base salary ranging from $180,000 to $250,000, in addition to meaningful stock options. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
