Senior Engineering Manager at Bolt

Key outcomes

• Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team of 6 to 10 individuals.
• Take ownership of technical architecture, project roadmaps, and the daily technical oversight of your team.
• Partner closely with our product team to align on upcoming releases and strategic priorities.
• Drive our hiring initiatives by collaborating with recruiting to identify, assess, and secure top talent.
• Provide mentorship and coaching to engineers to support their professional and personal development.
• Develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the company to maximize our collective impact.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technical field, with a preference for Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience serving as an individual contributor on engineering teams.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in a management role overseeing engineering teams.
• Proven background in managing engineers within large-scale technology firms or venture-backed organizations.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience managing teams that are distributed across multiple locations.

Compensation

The estimated cash compensation for this role ranges from 225,000 USD to 260,000 USD, plus equity based on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
