Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Dev Tools division. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located between Central Europe and the Americas Eastern Time zone. You will be responsible for overseeing two high-impact teams, Hardhat and EDR, as we continue to build the core tooling stack used by the Ethereum community.

Your impact

• Technical Leadership: You will guide architectural decisions, provide high-level mentorship, and participate in code reviews to ensure our software remains scalable and maintainable.
• Product Strategy: You will own the product roadmap, translate user needs into technical milestones, and manage project delivery from MVP to launch.
• Team Development: You will foster a high-performing culture by implementing effective performance reviews, career development plans, and streamlined hiring processes.

What you'll need

We are looking for a leader who balances deep technical expertise with a thoughtful, human-centric approach to management. You should be fluent in English and possess the following qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams in remote or asynchronous environments.
• 6+ years of experience in technical leadership, specifically driving multi-year roadmaps and complex projects.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust software architecture.
• Technical proficiency or strong familiarity with Rust, TypeScript, and Solidity.
• A collaborative mindset that allows you to direct teams without micromanaging.
