We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our Platform services team and help us continue our rapid pace of innovation.

What you'll be doing

• You will take ownership of our ingestion system, which is the most critical part of our stack, by adding new features, resolving bugs, and optimizing for performance and scalability.
• You will collaborate closely with our Chief Architect to ensure our infrastructure is prepared for future growth and can handle data at an ever-increasing scale.
• Beyond the ingestion system, you will contribute to building the broader platform that powers the entire Quantum Metric experience.

What you'll bring

• At least 5 years of professional experience working with C++.
• Proven expertise in managing high-throughput data or ingestion systems.
• Strong knowledge of databases, with a preference for experience in BigQuery.
• Practical experience with Cloud Computing environments.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Bonus points if you have experience with Golang, message queues like Kafka or Pulsar, or the GCP ecosystem.
