We are Beauty Pie, the world’s first luxury beauty and wellness buyers’ club. We are disrupting the industry by cutting out retail markups and connecting our members directly to the finest labs across the globe, and we are looking for a Senior Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code to solve complex technical problems.
- Support your fellow engineers by providing constructive feedback during pull request reviews.
- Collaborate with product owners to shape roadmaps, plan releases, and measure the success of new features.
- Work closely with engineering management to track progress and ensure predictable delivery.
- Develop foundational capabilities for hyper-personalized shopping experiences, such as product recommendations and targeted offers.
- Enable push notifications to keep our members informed about new releases and exclusive offers.
- Accelerate the migration of our CRM platforms to improve the efficiency of our omni-channel marketing efforts.
Must-haves
- Demonstrable experience building scalable, robust, and performant cloud-native solutions.
- Expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Practical experience with our core tech stack, including AWS, Terraform, GraphQL, and React.
- A strong background in test automation and continuous delivery practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- A keen focus on delivering commercial impact and genuine value to our customers.
- Fluency in English.
