Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Engineer, Service Desk to join our growing IT team in a full-time capacity. This is a senior-level role that requires you to be on-site five days a week at our office in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston. You will be the go-to technical expert for our team, ensuring our systems remain robust and secure in a fast-paced life sciences environment.
Your impact
- Act as the primary on-site escalation point for tier 2 and 3 support, ensuring our users receive high-quality, timely technical resolutions.
- Lead the administration of our device ecosystem by utilizing Microsoft Intune and Autopilot to streamline deployments and enforce security standards.
- Drive operational efficiency by managing Azure AD, implementing Single Sign-On, and using PowerShell to automate complex system tasks.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure. We are looking for someone who brings the following:
- At least 5 years of experience working in a regulated life sciences environment.
- Proven expertise in technical troubleshooting across both Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Strong proficiency with Azure AD, SCIM, and conditional access policies.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse teams.
- A commitment to staying ahead of industry trends and a passion for continuous learning.
