What you bring
As a Senior Engineer I for High Voltage Systems, you will play a vital role at our Colorado Technical Center. This full-time position focuses on the design, development, and integration of onboard high voltage systems for our next generation of transit buses. You will work on-site in Loveland, Colorado, collaborating with our engineering team to ensure our technology remains the industry standard for quality and performance. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Developing and architecting high voltage systems for upcoming vehicle platforms.
- Creating, releasing, and managing power distribution schematics and components.
- Verifying system compatibility and simulating bus performance to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and systems design. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, along with at least five years of relevant industry experience. A deep understanding of electric vehicle theory, thermal characteristics, and circuit design is essential. We value candidates who are familiar with ISO 26262 standards and have practical experience with design tools like Zuken E3 and LTSpice. You must possess excellent communication skills and a highly organized approach to documentation, as you will be responsible for cascading system requirements and facilitating compliance documentation.
What we offer
