Key outcomes

• Develop and maintain core Unreal Engine 5 features, including memory management, asset streaming, and task graphs.
• Design scalable, high-performance systems that address complex project requirements.
• Partner with artists and fellow engineers to optimize features for maximum efficiency.
• Engineer comprehensive solutions that span the engine, editor, and build pipeline.
• Manage middleware integrations and provide guidance to the team on best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve stability issues across PC and next-generation console platforms.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members to support their professional growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in game engine programming.
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and a strong foundation in mathematics.
• Proven ability to develop and debug complex multi-threaded systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and effective time management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• A proactive, positive attitude when facing new technical challenges.
• Willingness to participate in regular internal playtests.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Direct experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5.
• Proficiency with performance analysis tools like Pix or Razor to optimize resource usage.
• A track record of shipping multiplatform game titles.

Compensation
