We are currently looking for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Fremont, California, and help us advance our mission.

Key outcomes

• Deliver robust software solutions for safety-critical systems.
• Develop and maintain software for our main compute platform, which is based on the Nvidia Drive Orin.
• Manage software development for the Pebble Body Control Module.
• Design and implement comprehensive system health monitoring tools.
• Create backend connectivity solutions to support our vehicle ecosystem.
• Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and validation to ensure high performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with electrical engineering, systems engineering, and product management teams to meet project milestones.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in embedded software engineering.
• A proven history of delivering real-time software for mass production environments.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and C programming.
• Direct experience with software development for automotive systems.
• A solid grasp of automotive communication protocols like CAN and LIN, as well as diagnostic tools.
• Experience working with RTOS and embedded development workflows.
• Familiarity with electric vehicle systems, including battery management and motor control.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• A genuine passion for electric vehicles and sustainable transportation.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $152,000 to $210,000 USD. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes dental insurance, vision insurance, a 401k plan, and unlimited vacation time.
