Group14 Technologies is leading the transition to a more sustainable future by pioneering the silicon battery era. Our advanced SCC55 material is replacing traditional graphite to power everything from AI-enabled smartphones to electric vehicles. As we expand our global network of factories, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on-site in Moses Lake, Washington, to support the commissioning and ongoing operations of our anode battery material manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Manage technical reviews for equipment specifications, engineering data, and project proposals.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of plant infrastructure, including power distribution systems.
- Maintain and test on-site UPS systems, load centers, and switchgear.
- Support daily operations and maintenance by managing power loads and 3-phase 480V infrastructure.
- Collaborate with reliability engineers to investigate equipment failures.
- Interface with local authorities and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design and specify electrical instrumentation for new and existing unit processes.
Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Deep expertise in 3-phase 480V infrastructure and electrical distribution systems.
- Proven ability to interpret single-line drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as NFPA 70, UL508A, and UL2011.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor information to different audiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with hazardous area classifications for flammable vapors or combustible dusts.
- Background in bulk solids manufacturing and processing.
- Proficiency in reading and applying Process and Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Prior experience with equipment start-up and commissioning.

The annual base salary for this role is $120,000 to $150,000, supplemented by a bonus plan and stock options.
