Senior Director, Product Observability at Fastly

What you bring

We are looking for an experienced executive to lead our observability product management organization on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this role you will guide a team that defines and executes the vision for products that give customers real-time performance and security insights. Your work will span product strategy, cross-functional execution, and go-to-market collaboration, and you will be based in the United States with flexibility to split time between the office and home.

• Build and develop a high-performing product management team that adapts to the evolving observability landscape and leads cross-functional initiatives.
• Partner with the Chief Product Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and other senior leaders to craft a compelling product vision and a differentiated strategy that creates sustainable competitive advantages.
• Drive execution across Engineering, Revenue, Marketing, and other groups to deliver roadmaps, support strategic customer deals, and continuously improve outcomes based on market feedback.

This position is open to preferred office locations in San Francisco, California and Denver, Colorado.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings significant experience leading product management teams in the content delivery network, observability, or cloud infrastructure space, along with a track record of working effectively in matrixed environments. You will need strong influence and collaboration skills to align teams that report to you as well as stakeholders across the company. Executive-level communication and presentation abilities are essential, as is the capacity to develop clear business strategies and contribute to both go-to-market and research-and-development planning. Deep technical knowledge of cloud, observability, or content delivery networks will help you earn credibility with engineering and customer teams. High emotional intelligence and a collaborative mindset are valued in our people-first culture, and fluency in English is required.

What we offer

The estimated salary range for this position is $266,270 to $332,840, and starting compensation may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This role may also be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
