We are looking for a Senior Director of Wastewater Practice to join our team at WSC, a premier engineering and communications consulting firm dedicated exclusively to the water sector. Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of medium to large-scale wastewater and recycled water infrastructure projects.
- Drive the growth of our wastewater practice by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships.
- Oversee project performance, including the management of budgets, schedules, and technical scopes.
- Develop high-quality technical documentation, such as master plans, reports, specifications, and contract documents.
- Provide strategic vision for the practice, including training, resource improvement, and industry research.
- Mentor junior staff and facilitate the recruitment and professional growth of our team members.
- Facilitate project workshops, alternatives analysis, and strategic pursuits, including proposal development and client interviews.
Must-haves
- A Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Current P.E. registration in California, or the ability to obtain it within six months of your start date.
- At least 10 years of experience in the planning, design, or construction of wastewater and recycled water facilities.
- Deep knowledge of industry standards and regulations regarding wastewater treatment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to write technical reports and lead client presentations.
- A collaborative, team-first mindset with a passion for mentoring others.
- The ability to travel as needed throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.
Nice-to-haves
- A PhD in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Active participation in professional industry associations and familiarity with emerging treatment trends.

The annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to $225,000, depending on your experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
