The role

We are looking for a Senior Director of Information Technology to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a high-level leadership position for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical solutions. You will be responsible for defining the strategy for our finance, legal, procurement, and human resources systems, ensuring that our technology stack is as innovative as the therapies we develop.

Core responsibilities

• Design and implement a strategic technology roadmap that aligns our finance, legal, procurement, and HR systems with our broader organizational goals.
• Act as a primary partner to department stakeholders, translating their unique business requirements into functional, scalable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of vendor management, including the selection of software, contract negotiations, and the oversight of service level agreements to ensure high performance and data security.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in IT leadership and a deep understanding of business systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration, with a master's degree being a plus.
• Over 10 years of experience in IT leadership, specifically focused on supporting finance, legal, procurement, and HR functions.
• Hands-on technical expertise with ERP, HCM, and CLM systems.
• A proven ability to analyze complex problems and provide effective, compliant technical solutions.
• Experience working in a startup environment is highly valued.
• Fluency in English is required.

Compensation and benefits
