What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Business Development to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is an executive-level position that requires someone with a proven track record in the clinical research organization sector. You will be responsible for driving our growth strategy throughout Europe, working closely with our global teams to secure new business and strengthen our presence in the market.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase revenue and expand our CRO service offerings across the European market.
- Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders at pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
- Work in close partnership with our internal scientific and operational teams to design and deliver tailored, client-focused solutions for complex clinical studies.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in clinical trials and a deep understanding of European regulatory requirements. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a life science or business-related field, with an advanced degree being a significant advantage.
- Over 10 years of experience in business development within a CRO, specifically with a history of closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
- An established professional network of senior contacts within the pharma and biotech industries.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional European languages being a plus.
- A willingness to travel extensively, as this role requires frequent travel for client meetings and industry events.
