We are looking for a strategic leader to join our team as a Senior Director of Business Development. In this role, you will report directly to our Commercial Officer and take charge of expanding our CMC service offerings across the United States. We specialize in providing high-level analytical services for the life sciences sector, with a focus on biologics and gene therapy. Your work will be vital in shaping our commercial strategy and driving our growth as we continue to support innovation in the biopharma industry.
What you'll be doing
- You will lead the entire sales cycle, from identifying new market opportunities and generating leads to negotiating complex contracts and closing high-value deals.
- You will cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology landscapes to grow our client portfolio.
- You will collaborate with our internal teams to refine our sales processes, implement effective CRM systems, and build the infrastructure needed to support our long-term organizational goals.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in the life sciences and a passion for solution-based selling. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A university degree in a life sciences field, paired with at least seven years of experience in business development or consultative sales within a CRO, biotech, or biopharma environment.
- Proven expertise in the biologics and gene therapy markets, including a deep understanding of drug development processes for New Biological Entities and biosimilars.
- A demonstrated track record of closing complex deals and an existing network of contacts within the industry.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience utilizing CRM systems to manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment.
