What is this role?

We are seeking a Senior Director, IT Infrastructure & Security to join us in a full-time, executive-level capacity. Reporting to the VP of IT, you will provide the strategic vision necessary to lead our infrastructure, service desk, and information security initiatives. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week at our Brisbane headquarters and two days of remote work.

What will you do?

• Lead the development and execution of our enterprise technology infrastructure strategy to ensure our systems remain secure, scalable, and compliant.
• Design and implement a robust information security program while managing critical vendor relationships and IT policies.
• Partner with business leaders to create long-term IT roadmaps, manage departmental budgets, and mentor the service desk team to maintain high standards of support.

You bring over 12 years of professional experience, with at least a decade spent in leadership roles. You are comfortable navigating a complex, regulated environment, specifically within the Life Sciences sector, and have a solid understanding of GxP controls and FDA regulations. You are a strategic thinker who can translate complex technical challenges into clear business solutions.

Your background includes:

• Deep expertise in infrastructure security, disaster recovery, and managing cloud environments like Azure and AWS.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Zoom, ServiceNow, Cisco Meraki, Okta, and M365.
• Familiarity with security frameworks including NIST, ISO, GDPR, and HIPAA.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and drive continuous improvement.
