Senior Director, IT Infrastructure & Security at Dayonebio

At Day One Biopharmaceuticals, we are a mission-driven drug development company focused on discovering and commercializing innovative treatments for pediatric oncology patients, with the goal of extending these benefits to patients of all ages. We are currently looking for a Senior Director, IT Infrastructure & Security to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity. Reporting to the VP of IT, you will provide the vision and leadership necessary to manage our infrastructure, service desk, and information security initiatives, ensuring they remain aligned with our broader business objectives and growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of our enterprise technology infrastructure strategy while ensuring all services remain secure, scalable, and compliant.
• Design and implement a robust information security program, including the management of IT policies and the oversight of security frameworks and standards.
• Partner with business leaders and external vendors to create comprehensive IT roadmaps, manage departmental budgets, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across our infrastructure operations.

Requirements

We are seeking an executive-level leader with at least 12 years of experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a management or leadership role. You should possess the following qualifications:

• Deep expertise in infrastructure security for user endpoints, cloud environments, and networks, alongside experience with comprehensive disaster recovery architecture.
• Proven technical proficiency with tools such as M365, Zoom, ServiceNow, Cisco Meraki, Okta, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• A strong background in Life Sciences, including familiarity with GxP controls and working within an FDA-regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and manage cross-functional relationships effectively.

What we offer
