What is this role?
We are hiring a Senior Director of Commercial Assessment on a full-time basis. The position is based on-site in our new Chicago office and calls for someone at the senior level who can bring deep commercial insight to our growing U.S. strategy team.
What will you do?
- Lead commercial assessments for potential licensing and M&A deals by sizing markets, analyzing competitors, and building revenue forecasts that guide valuation and risk decisions.
- Design and run primary research with physicians, payers, and other stakeholders, then translate those findings into clear recommendations that shape deal strategy.
- Map competitive pipelines, track regulatory milestones, and evaluate pricing and market-access dynamics so leadership has an up-to-date view of the landscape.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring seven to ten years of hands-on experience in commercial assessment, new-product planning, or commercial analytics within biopharma or a related consulting setting. You are comfortable building complex models on your own, and you understand the full arc of drug development, revenue forecasting, commercial operations, and payer behavior. An advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD, or MD is preferred. You communicate confidently with senior leaders, thrive on cross-functional projects, and enjoy the pace of an entrepreneurial environment. Fluency in English is required for all internal and external interactions.
What's in it for you?
Base compensation for this position ranges from $258,000 to a maximum of $335,400. Actual pay will reflect experience, qualifications, skills, and location. The role also participates in our performance bonus plan and long-term incentive program.
