What is this role?
We are seeking a Senior Director, Brand & Corporate Communications to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is an executive-level position reporting directly to our Chief Marketing Officer. You will lead our efforts in shaping how Granicus is perceived by our partners, customers, and the broader market, ensuring our brand strategy remains consistent and impactful across all channels.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies that align with our mission, ensuring brand integrity across all digital platforms and company materials.
- Direct our long-term communications strategy, which includes managing public relations, influencer programs, social media, and crisis communications.
- Lead the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, thought leadership pieces, and corporate collateral, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support product launches and major events.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a skilled storyteller with a deep understanding of brand management and strategic communications. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in marketing communications, with at least 7 years of experience in people management.
- Expertise in managing media relations, social media strategy, and web content production.
- Strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex data into clear, informative messaging.
- A passion for working with public sector entities and a desire to contribute to a diverse, inclusive team.
