Senior DevSecOps Engineer at EquityZen

We are EquityZen, a financial technology firm backed by prominent venture and private equity investors. Since 2013, we have operated a marketplace that simplifies the process of buying and selling shares in private companies, effectively bringing private market access to accredited investors. With over 35,000 private placements across 400 companies, we are dedicated to delivering private markets for the public. We are looking for a diligent Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join us on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will help us build, improve, and secure the infrastructure that powers our industry-defining pre-IPO investment platform.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deploy applications within our AWS and Kubernetes environments while maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure tooling.
• Take the lead on security initiatives by implementing robust protection measures, such as encryption and access controls, and managing our response to security incidents.
• Partner with our engineering and product teams to design scalable infrastructure solutions and integrate security best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting cloud-based application deployments, specifically with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Strong proficiency in Golang and Python, along with hands-on experience using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Deep familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and automation platforms such as CircleCI or Jenkins.
• A solid grasp of security protocols, authentication, and authorization, combined with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, lean team environment.
