About the Role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps WebOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the robust infrastructure and processes required to support our current user base and scale our services for the next 100 million users and beyond. You will work within a sophisticated tech stack that includes AWS, Azure, Fastly, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the constant availability of our web services and maintain the health of our continuous delivery pipelines.
- Design, migrate, enhance, and secure our cloud infrastructure and services.
- Develop code to automate, test, deploy, and manage our various applications and services.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in infrastructure management and a deep commitment to privacy and security. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Expertise in managing CDNs, caching policies, TLS certificates, high availability, proxying, rate limiting, firewalls, and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Cloudfront, S3, VPC, Lambda, and WAF.
- Proficiency in creating CI pipelines as code using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Practical experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
Location
This is a remote position available to candidates based in North America, South America, or the Caribbean.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a salary range of 100,000 USD to 150,000 USD for candidates based in the United States, with market-competitive rates available for those in other eligible locations. In addition to your salary, you will receive the following benefits:
