We are a high-growth consumer technology startup backed by one of the largest furniture retailers in the United States. Our mission is to transform the 200 billion dollar furniture market by serving as a digital aggregator that connects customers with the products they love. We combine the agility of a startup with the substantial resources of an established industry leader. We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a full-time, on-site position to help us build, manage, and scale our AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work alongside our engineering, security, and data architecture teams to create a world-class experience for our users.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on designing and maintaining our AWS infrastructure to ensure it remains secure, scalable, and highly available.
- Build and manage automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
- Proactively monitor system performance and optimize our cloud resources to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 to 7 years of professional experience working as a DevOps or AWS Cloud Engineer.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced coding proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or JavaScript.
- Relevant AWS certifications, such as the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued, as is a solid understanding of CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Authorization to work in the United States is required.
