We are looking to add a Senior DevOps Engineer as we grow our small, highly motivated DevOps team. Even as an early stage company, Regal.io already operates at significant scale, processing 10s of millions of data points each month and powering 10s of thousands of calls and messages to end-users monthly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources.Architect, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based infrastructure solutions on AWS, including services like RDS Aurora, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS Fargate, and more.Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to provide guidance on best practices for DevOps, cloud architecture, and automation.Develop test and deploy pipelines for containerized and serverless applications with a focus on making them as self-serve for developers as possible, primarily on Github and Github Actions.Split DevOps on-call duty with other engineers on the teamEnsure cloud infrastructure is secure, compliant, and follows best practices for data security and privacy, including IAM, security groups, and VPC configurations.ABOUT YOU:
Minimum 4 years experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.Experience with AWS technologies, including serverlessProven experience with Terraform and/or other Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible).Previous experience using configuration management platforms to build and manage infrastructureProficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Shell, etc.Previous experience working with Datadog or similar observability and monitoringPrevious experience with database technologies such as Postgres or DynamoDBPrevious experience with queuing and caching platforms such as Redis, Kinesis or KafkaExcellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Ability to digest and manage feedback from engineers to address pain points across the stackPassion for learning and mentoring -- always improving yourself and the team around youBENEFITS/PERKS:
