The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in the United States. In this role, you will be the architect of our AWS cloud infrastructure and the driving force behind our CI/CD pipelines. You will take ownership of our systems to ensure they remain scalable, secure, and highly efficient. By stepping into this position, you will play a vital role in our engineering department, where you will not only manage our infrastructure and handle incident responses but also mentor junior team members and champion the latest automation best practices.

A day in the life

• You will design and implement robust cloud infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation while managing our AWS environments.
• You will build and refine our CI/CD pipelines to ensure that our deployment processes are fast, reliable, and high in quality.
• You will proactively monitor our systems and lead incident response efforts, ensuring our applications remain stable and performant for our users.

Who you are

You are a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering. You possess a deep technical background and a passion for automation. Your profile includes:

• Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, and VPC.
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting, specifically using the Boto3 SDK.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• A solid grasp of networking, security best practices, and IAM policies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

While not required, holding certifications such as the AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or HashiCorp Terraform Associate would be a wonderful addition to your qualifications.
