Key outcomes

• Develop, test, and maintain Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning of our Azure environment.
• Design and implement robust Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Configure and manage critical Azure resources, including networking components, storage accounts, and virtual machines.
• Oversee database version control and schema management, ensuring seamless integration into our CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to design and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines that streamline our build, test, and deployment processes.
• Support the deployment and management of containerized applications via Azure Kubernetes Service.
• Monitor service performance and availability to ensure our platform remains the gold standard for resilience.
• Troubleshoot automation issues and participate in the evaluation of new Azure features.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology.
• At least 5 years of experience managing cloud infrastructure, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on Azure Cloud.
• Proven proficiency in writing and maintaining Terraform scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Azure resource management and service monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Grafana, or Nagios.
• Strong knowledge of GitHub Actions and the development of CI/CD pipelines, including the integration of automated testing and DevSecOps tools.
• A solid understanding of infrastructure best practices, security, and networking.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Relevant certifications, such as the Azure DevOps Engineer Expert credential.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
