Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our critical infrastructure and automate our software delivery pipelines. You should have a deep affinity for scalable systems, cloud technologies (especially AWS), and ensuring the reliability and security of our services. Key Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure consistent and reproducible environments.
Managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure on AWS, including compute, storage, networking, and database services.
Implementing and overseeing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance.
Automating operational tasks and developing scripts to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
Collaborating with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports application needs and to embed DevSecOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
Ensuring high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery for all critical systems.
Troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and participating in incident response and post-mortems.
Staying informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies in cloud, automation, and DevOps.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or similar infrastructure-focused engineering role.
Demonstrable history of planning, leading, and executing projects related to infrastructure automation and cloud deployments.
Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar.
Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
Strong proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Excellent scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.
Creative thinker, able to think critically about system architecture and operational efficiency.
Ability to relay complex technical insights in clear, concise terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
