Senior DevOps Engineer at NOWATCH

NOWATCH is an Amsterdam-based health innovation company that explores the frontiers of wellbeing by blending cutting-edge technology with the latest science in mental health. As we continue to grow our global presence, we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in the Netherlands on a full-time, hybrid basis to help us scale our infrastructure and support our mission of helping people recover from stress.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to streamline our software delivery processes.
• Manage our cloud environment on AWS, ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance across our services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to keep our environments consistent.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to maintain system health.
• Automate operational tasks using Python or BASH to reduce manual effort and improve workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with our development teams to integrate DevSecOps best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and participate in incident response to ensure system reliability.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration, specifically with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent scripting skills in Python or BASH for automation.
• A solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and monitoring tools.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
