The opportunity

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering family. In this role, you will be the backbone of our platform, ensuring our services remain reliable, secure, and scalable. You will not just be maintaining infrastructure, you will be actively building it. We view DevOps as a core part of our engineering culture, and you will work closely with our teams to automate processes, improve software velocity, and ensure that our systems can handle the demands of our growing business. A day in the life

• You will design and implement robust infrastructure as code, ensuring our environments are consistent, scalable, and highly available.
• You will collaborate with application engineering teams to support their deployments, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the resiliency of our build systems.
• You will proactively monitor our production environments, manage incident response, and automate operational tasks to keep our services running smoothly around the clock.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with a deep technical background and a meticulous approach to your work. You communicate clearly and thrive in environments where security and reliability are paramount. Your toolkit includes:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments, including expertise in DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, LDAP, firewalls, load balancing, and monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in AWS architecture and services like EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, and VPCs.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Cloudformation, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• A solid understanding of database technologies, specifically MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
• Proficiency in Ruby and Rails.
