The opportunity

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will join our Platform Squad, a cross-functional team that serves as the backbone of our technical operations. You will act as an internal consultant, working alongside various departments to ensure our platform remains reliable, scalable, and efficient. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys designing customized solutions and wants to make a tangible impact on the infrastructure that powers our entire marketplace.

A day in the life

• You will automate complex processes using our advanced stack, including GCP, Kubernetes, Istio, and GitOps practices, to reduce manual toil.
• You will collaborate directly with product teams to design new systems and enhance the observability and alerting capabilities of our infrastructure.
• You will participate in our on-call rotation to handle incidents, ensuring our platform maintains high availability and operational excellence.

Who you are

You are a seasoned engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience in cloud environments, ideally with GCP. You have a strong background in Kubernetes and are comfortable writing code, particularly in Go. You bring a deep understanding of containerization and orchestration, along with experience using modern tools like the Grafana stack and FluxCD. Beyond your technical skills, you are a proactive team player who is open-minded, enthusiastic about continuous learning, and fluent in English.
