The role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a senior-level position where you will report directly to our Director of DevOps. You will play a vital role in our CloudOps, DevOps, FinOps, and SecOps initiatives, ensuring that our systems remain secure, resilient, and highly scalable as we continue to grow.

Core responsibilities

• Partner with our engineering and security teams to build and manage robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Maintain the integrity of our cloud environment by conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation efforts to meet industry standards like SOC2 and HITRUST.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring cloud resource usage, optimizing spending, and providing technical leadership to junior team members.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a commitment to quality. We look for the following qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering within AWS environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and deep knowledge of Linux administration.
• A strong understanding of cloud security, containerization, and observability tools.
• An AWS Solutions Architect Certificate is highly preferred.
• Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
