The role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level position based in Austria, offering a hybrid work environment that balances office collaboration in Vienna with the flexibility of working from home. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical landscape, ensuring that our infrastructure is as innovative as the software we build.

Core responsibilities

• Architect and manage resilient multi-region deployment strategies to ensure our services remain robust and scalable.
• Optimize our Kubernetes environments across AWS and Hetzner, focusing on performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Drive automation and CI/CD excellence by designing and maintaining sophisticated pipelines that streamline our software delivery processes.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should bring a deep technical background and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. We require the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps or a closely related engineering field.
• Extensive practical experience managing large-scale Kubernetes deployments and multi-cluster environments.
• Strong proficiency with AWS infrastructure, including EKS, EC2, VPC, and RDS.
• Expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with a desire to share knowledge and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
