What you bring
We are looking for a Senior Developer to join our HR UK team on a full-time basis. In this hybrid role you will work from our London office one day each week and contribute across the entire software delivery lifecycle using Agile and Scrum practices. Your background in software engineering within the hospitality and SaaS sectors, together with hands-on experience in SQL, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, REST APIs, unit testing, TDD, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps, will be central to our success.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality solutions that meet acceptance criteria.
- Design and implement complex software features independently while writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Take part in code reviews, mentor junior colleagues, and apply advanced troubleshooting skills throughout the development lifecycle.
This position is based in the United Kingdom.
Requirements
You will have five to seven years of professional software development experience, including at least five years working with Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures as well as five or more years building applications in C#, .NET Framework 8.x and above, and .NET Core. Hands-on experience maintaining and extending legacy code bases in VB6 and Classic ASP is essential, along with proven delivery of REST APIs on the Microsoft stack. You should be comfortable applying unit testing and test-driven development, and you will have worked with Jenkins or Azure DevOps for continuous integration. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are equally important. The working language is English, and a degree or equivalent professional experience in computer science or a related field is expected. Familiarity with Blazor, Octopus Deploy, Azure, Kubernetes, or Terraform is considered an advantage.
