We are looking for someone who is passionate about developer experience to join us as a Senior Developer Relations Advocate and help us continue building professional-grade tools for the Ethereum community.
About the Role
This is a full-time, senior-level position where you will serve as the primary voice for our suite of projects, including Hardhat, Hardhat Ignition, and Slang. You will work directly with our engineering team and report to our CEO to lead our marketing and community outreach efforts. Your goal is to educate the community on our tools and ensure that developers have the support they need to build, test, and maintain their Solidity contracts effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and nurture the Hardhat community by engaging with developers through forums, social media, Discord, and in-person meet-ups.
- Create high-quality technical documentation, tutorials, and code samples that assist developers in mastering our APIs and tools.
- Represent the organization by delivering workshops and talks at global conferences and events.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a passion for community building. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
- 1 to 2 years of dedicated experience in a Developer Relations role.
- Excellent skills in technical writing and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- A genuine interest in developer tools and the Ethereum ecosystem.
- The ability and willingness to travel internationally for 4 to 6 events per year.
Location
This is a fully remote position. We welcome applications from candidates located within the UTC+2 to UTC-4 time zones.
