We are looking for a Senior Developer Productivity Engineer to join our team and help transform how healthcare data moves across North America. PocketHealth serves over a million patients and more than 600 clinics by providing a secure, patient-centric platform for sharing medical imaging records, and you will be instrumental in building the internal tools and infrastructure that allow our engineers to scale this mission effectively.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to pinpoint and resolve bottlenecks in our current development workflows.
- Build and maintain solutions that boost productivity, including automated tasks, optimized build pipelines, and streamlined development environments.
- Act as the lead for our developer infrastructure, ensuring that our tooling is reliable, scalable, and high-performing.
- Promote engineering standards that reduce technical debt and foster operational excellence.
- Coordinate with the broader Platform team to ensure your initiatives support our long-term infrastructure goals.
- Take ownership as the founding member of our Developer Productivity team, with the opportunity to shape the function as we grow.
- Adapt to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment, often taking the lead on restarting or refining key projects.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of professional experience spanning software development and operations.
- Solid expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and a strong background in infrastructure as code.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration, specifically Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to manage and improve CI/CD pipelines and various automation tools.
- Working knowledge of database administration and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit that helps you partner effectively with diverse teams.
- A self-motivated mindset with a focus on continuous learning and proactive problem-solving.
- Fluency in English.
